As far as I'm concerned, they can keep him above ground until he spoils. He can't hurt us too much any more. Quite likely he'll be voting in the next few elections (possibly voting several times in each) but unless he votes again in congress, that won't hurt us too bad.

It is not so much about McCain anymore as it is about on opportunity to come together and bash Trump. They are enjoying the moment. An example of small people uniting against a common enemy. Even McCain's family is joining in. And John planned it this way. This too shall pass.
