Just got the Glock G21 Now I am looking for a way to carry it.
I EDC a Glock G26 in my pocket with a Mic Guard Cover/Holster and Like it.
I am wondering whether I should try one of those type of clips that attach to the Pistol along with another Mic or a Outside the Waistband Crossdraw/belt slide Holster?
I am wanting to EDC the G21 as well.
From lying back semi prone in a couch with recliner, to sitting in my Pickup with the Lap and shoulder belts in place to getting out of the Truck to go in a store .
I am looking for as much comfort as possible with such a Large pistol.
I am thinking that Maybe a Leather cross draw holster Maybe a cross draw slide with a pretty good angle on it might come close to doing what I want .
But I dont know as I am used to carrying smaller pistols Like the G26.
I would like some input from those experienced in carrying large pistols this way.
I use a comp tac kydex IWB for a G20. It works fine, but I think something leather like a milt sparks summer special 2 (I use a sparks with my 1911) would be even better. It was strong side. I carry a 1911 more than the big Glock, and it is heavier and longer of barrel. Look at a summer special type holster in leather or leather/kydex.
I prefer the Galco OWB Concealable model for my Glock 20. Which is, of course, the same size as the Glock 21

I carried a Glock 21 as my service pistol for years and very much prefered my Milt Sparks 55BN for an all around rig. I would not suggest a cross draw rig at all for a full size gun, and general purpose use.
There are a couple of 55 BN holsters for Glocks in this pic. One for a G19, the other for a G20/21.

The Tikka T3 in .308 Winchester is the Glock 19 of the rifle world.
I tried sticking the pistol my belt and pants on my strong side(right handed)and was confronted with what I thought I would be problem and that is the Lap belt and the shoulder belt will be an issue with carrying that way.
Although I like some of the concepts of strong side carry, when carrying in my pickup I think that either the cross draw or a strong side appendix type of carry would be more comfortable and easier to draw. And around the house whether sitting or reclining in the couch, doing yard work and using my old little tractor(1964 Massey 35 gas burner).
I also EDC a G26 in my right front pocket with a Mic Holster over the trigger guard
Does either the Sparks or the Galco allow for a cross draw or appendix type of carry when ordered with a rearward cant ?
I have had the 20, 21, 29 and 40 and use the DeSantis Speed Scabbard for strong side carry. It can be worn canted or straight drop. I have not tried the straight drop crossdraw however.
EPS make one I have always wanted to try...it allows SS and CD...
Just bought one of the trigger guard covers that fit all Glocks from Lone Wolf... Usually carry crossdraw with no holster with the gun tucked in behind the left hip butt forward. Tried it with the G19 the other day and really like it...
Got rid of the 20, 21 and 29 as I just didn't like the grip or recoil... The 40 was kept as it is comfortable to shoot and isn't carried on body but kept in a pouch seatbelted to under the console...

If you can not deal with reality, reality will deal with you....
.......... Milt Sparks 55BN for an all around rig. .....
I'll second the 55BN from Milt Sparks. I've only used the straight/0 cant so I can't speak to wearing it cross draw. A very well made kydex option is Dale Fricke's Gideon Elite.....it's essentially a kydex version of the 55BN. If I was just buying one it would be the 55BN.

I've not used Lone Wolf's version, but have spent a lot of time using Dale Fricke's Zacchaeus. I use it all the time...often with a HPG kit bag. Opens up about any type of carry and is surprisingly comfortable IWB with the loop around the belt.
