I'm no fan of imminent domain,....but I suspect that most people who own property which adjoins the Mexican border would be happy for the government to build a fence along it.

They're probably tired of cleaning up the chitty diaper trail that illegals are distributing across their land.

And what happens to said wall when the next Obama plus is elected, and there will be one.

I bet they're just as pissed, if not more. for paying for all the fugging illegals that half the country wants to keep.

Buy the necessary land from MX.

If they won't sell, rechannel the Rio 1/4 mile to the N.

Fill in the old channel with the dirt, and build a wall on it.

The land owners don't have to give up their property or allow public access to it if things are handled the way flood protection levees are in Louisiana. The levees are built with public money and maintained and patrolled with public money but there is no public access unless there is a public road atop the levee which is sometimes the case. The levees in my part of the state are used by the land owners as private roads and for grazing and hunting etc. If I was ranching on the border I would be glad to have a well maintained barrier to keep my cattle out of a foreign country (and to keep said foreigners from eating my cattle).

We can have land taken over by imminent domain or have our country taken over by illegal aliens, and our representation in govt, and our hospital beds, and our tax money, and our fish and game and our schools and....our asses, which is what is happening 12,000 times a year at Dallas Parkland Hospital.

Every illegal that wades the drink and drops their stink is taking our stuff by illegal domain and a piece of our country and citizenship every time they drop a turd with 2 arms and 2 legs.

Nope, I think we should spend 50 billion on Confederate Statues too.
