it is a ULA which pre dates the NULA name before colt bought Melvins company and he bought it back....during the buy back Melvin couldnt keep the Ultra Light Arms name so he changed it to New Ultra Light Arms....they are the same company just a name change that is all.....
the rifle was made in 2003 .....if you are wanting to know what year it was made through the serial number...
