Just wanted to update, we are now back from WY, LOVE WY!

In the camp where 8 hunters, 4 on antelope only hunts, 4 on combo deer/antelope.

There was a friend of mine with his daughter, they were the other 2 combo hunters. Was her graduation present from college! The girls out shot the boys!

the daughter took her first ever deer, then an antelope. So she took 2 animals with 3 shots, the deer took a follow up.

My wife, well I'd say her rifle worked, 3 one shot kills:

Mulie at 200 yards on the evening we got there, hunt hadn't "started" yet, guides where going to check out a new ranch and said "grab your stuff and jump in", we both shot Mulie's that evening. Here's hers, 1 shot, 200 yards:

buck antelope at 110 yards:

third shot was a doe antelope, 171, one shot again, but don't have a good picture of that one.

I also took: Mulie, 90 yards, buck antelope: 155 yards, doe antelope 265, but needed to chase that one down and do a follow up at 175. First shot "drifted"about 4-5 inches and just missed the chest, took a chunk of high on the leg, which allowed us to see her and pick her out of the group for the follow up.

Entire camp tagged out! Was a good/fast hunt as the weather closed in and got nasty, but we were mostly done by then.

Edit: Not sure how to embed the images

Perfect. Last thing you want to do is get her nervous and doubt herself. Now that it’s dialed in and you have the load it likes.
, practice, practice, practice. I’d do gongs at various distances for the instant gratification and fun when you hit it.

Nice pictures and sounds like a fun trip. It says it al when you have a wife that hunts with you.
