If I had a bug out bag I'd put my Ka-Bar or my Pilots survival knife in it along with a multi-tool. Those, along with whatever pocket knife I'm carrying at the moment should take care of any cutting needs short of an axe or saw.

Deflave that Cold Steel TrailMaster Bowie is a nice knife. I've got one of those myself.

hanco, that Buck 119 is the basis for their Ka-bar. Since I was ordering one of those I got one of their Frontier Bowies as well. They didn't make them for a while but are building them again. That has a nice size blade too.

A guy can't have too many nice knives.

I keep knives stashed here nad there and every little where...

Always at least 2 in my dinner pail. 2 in the truck, 2 in my pocket...

There's a couple in a drawer in my tool box in the garage.
Same for my tool boxes at work.

I don't actually have a bug out bag but i do carry a canvas shoulder satchel with a few comfort items in case I need to spend unexpected time somewhere or other. And yeah, there's even a couple of knives in there. They are a victorinox classic, an old Henry stag trapper and a rubber handled buck vanguard.

Leatherman wave, Treeman Combat Hunter, Sharpfinger, silky saw and a fiskars hatchet. Cold Steel axe and a SOG multi tool stay in the 4 runner. Never say you can't cut it.

Bark River Bravo 1, Leatherman original, and an ESEE folder. Also included is a Wetterlings hatchet and a Silky folding saw.

Regardless of what many say, a little knife can't do everything a big knife can.

An unemployed Jester, is nobody's Fool.

the only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker, is observation. all the same data is present for both. The rest, is understanding what you're seeing.

I am more enamored with smaller fixed blades these days. I ALWAYS carry a 5" Daniel Winkler Belt knife set up horizontally on the front of my belt. It can be a royal pain in the butt sometimes pinching the flesh but that is the largest knife i can carry in comfort. I high-cap pistol at 3 o'clock and a tourniquet in the back pocket.

I have Scrapyard 711's.....911's...Yard Keeper......Dog father.... Swamp Rat Ratmandu...etc. but everything sits in the safe. I want stuff on me 24/7 and work with that setup until it becomes second nature and an extension of myself.

I’ve got a big Cold Steel Tanto strapped to mine, + a leather man tool & a Spiderco Bill Moran Skinner inside my pack.

I've already bugged out,...don't need a bag. My house is my bug out bag.

Bug out Bag? WTF?

If society gets that bad Im just gonna take whatever I need. Law of the Jungle and stuff.

Thinking about all my neighbors in a 10 square block area doubt any of them would put much of a fight.

Always wanted to be a Viking.
