ESEE 4 is not too big, not too small. Tough 1095 that's easy to touch up.

I do not even have a BOB because I would have such a long distance to travel to a place worth reaching that I would NEVER get there.
Long . . . LONG ways from here to some place worth reaching.

We're more likely to bug-in, than out.

Last pic, knives for going into town.

I don't carry a "Bug out Bag"....however I do have what I call my "Go Bag". That's because it always "Goes" with me!

I carry a Black Jack replica of a Randall #1, a Tac light that runs on 4 "AAA" batteries, 4 spare mags, fire making items, compass, and a G-19. Always goes into the car, truck, boat, everywhere. Waterproof backpack.

I work in the city 25 miles from my house. My idea of a "bug out bag" is to ditch my laptop out of my backpack I tote it in to lighten the weight and have what I need to walk home if necessary. With that in mind, I keep a headlamp, water bottle, Sawyer Mini water filter, minimal first aid kit, compass, something to start a fire with, and a Mora Companion in there. The backpack only weighs a couple of pounds total without my laptop, has everything I need to walk home, and there's nothing expensive in it should I loose it or it get stolen.

Of course the Mora is supplemented by Benchmade Mini-Griptilion folder in my pocket and there's usually a G43 handy, but you didn't ask what was in our pockets! grin

I dont have a bug outbag but I keep more of a get home bag in the truck. Buck special in there as well as SOG feild pup. I would like to have some sort of a hardy woodcraft knife in there as well.

Don't have a bug baggy, but always carry a 5" Bill Bagwell Damascus skinner on my belt, along with an old Case Lockhorn in a front pocket.
