Just got one today do know much about these centennial but have other 30-30 Winchesters. Any info would help like valve, where they all made in '67. Looks to be 80% to 90% that why I bought it. Love a lever. Thanks

Prices for 94's have been all over the place for a lot of years. I'd be happy to get into that rifle in 80-90% for $450-$500-ish. The '67 Canadians are way cool rifles. Love the Octagon carbine-length barrel and (usually) light toned wood. Enjoy your new pick up !!!

Have you tried to chamber a round yet? I had one for about two weeks. The lifter was stamped metal and would throw the cartridge high and pointed straight up so it wouldn't load. This was ~ 25 years ago and on doing some research it was found out to be a problem with them so sold it back to the guy who sold it to me.

I have one with the 26" octagon barrel, I fitted it with a Lyman receiver sight, 170 gr Nosler partition bullets with RL-15 are very accurate, ringing 200 yard steel is boringly fun, I've hit a few deer and pigs with that rifle and load, penetration has to be seen to be believed, have never recovered a single bullet, always complete pass trough's, good luck and good hunting.

I've never hunted pigs. But I can say that if I got a chance, a rifle just like your new pick up would be one of my top choices for making it a good time !!!!
Enjoy !!!!

Lots of issues with the '64 and later 94s due to shortcuts adopted for economy of manufacture. That said, a friend had one that he popped a bunch of Bambies with over the years, and he was very vocal about the overall lack of quality compared to earlier ones. USRAC fixed them pretty well in later years, the Win-Tuff 94 I had for a bit was a very nice rifle and worked perfectly. Another friend loves those commemoratives dearly, and has a pile of them, but he's strictly a collector, not a hunter or shooter. In any case, given what you have in it, just enjoy it.
What fresh Hell is this?

I have the CC and a legendary frontiersman in 38-55, it fires the 260 gr beartooth and cast performance hard cast flat nosed bullets to 1855 fps with RL-7, neither rifle has ever given me the first hiccup, I'm happy with them.
