I didn't make it to that auction but saw it at the preview and it was a nice rifle as well. Congratulations on the fine rifle.

Thanks, I was impressed with Johnny, the auctioneer, he ran a good sale. I talked to him yesterday and he said if I ever saw a listing and wanted to know more about the gun just call him. He would start at the butt and go up the rifle inch by inch to the muzzle and come back down the other side. That's service, you can tell he enjoys his work.

You can't be too far from Mathias WV, maybe you could stop by for dinner one weekend. We like to shoot golf balls, clay bids and bowling pins.

I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

Joe, thanks for the offer I will have to take you up on it sometime. I live about 15-20 min from Mathias, and travel through there occasionally when I go to my Dads place outside of Capon Bridge. I take 259 to 29 and that brings me out on the backside of the property. Its a much more scenic route than traveling interstate 81.

John and his group run a great auction. I have been going to them for the last 17 years or so, ever since I was at college at JMU. Lately there have been more dealers showing up so it's getting harder and harder to get a deal on something.
