i was wondering if anybody had a cooper backcountry and could give me an exact weight, I have the cooper spec sheet strait from cooper and it states 5.75lb. but there is no possible way that all their chamberings weight the same. a 6.5x284 and a 338 win mag cant both weigh the same. Im considering one in a 300 weatherby but I would like to hear about your caliber/ performance and most of all, the exact weight of your backcountry. thanks
