Who had the ammo and dies for sale
Well we're Green and we're Gold, and we play better when it's cold. All us Cheese heads have our favorite superstar. We love Brett Favre.

I sure like my 270 WSM. I seems like a little less recoil than a 7 mag

I load 140’s in mine, it’s a real pleasure to shoot. I’ve alway been a 7 Rem mag guy, but the 270 WSM might change my mind.

I have a friend that swears by his .270WSM. It replaced his 30-06. That said I have never been a fan of the WSM line of cartridges. Some that love them make some pretty wild claims about them and ballistic discussions will not make any difference in their perceived results. I'm not knocking them mind you. If that's your medicine then I'm happy for you. I have used the 30-06 and Win. .270 for many years and personally I can't see going to a short magnum version. Here is a pretty good article on the .270 WSM. https://www.fieldandstream.com/blogs/gun-nuts/2013/01/270-vs-270-wsm

The 270 Wby makes this argument sort of extraneous.

Hasbeen I am not going to pay upwards of 2k for a 700 dollar Mark V either. I am trying to find a lighter 270WSM , the steyr was a bit much weightwise. I don't feel lucky playing Kimber Roulette

Remington 700. I’m not selling my 270 Weatherby either, but I like the short one also.

I don't feel lucky playing Kimber Roulette Tikka or Kimber Montana (used) are about the same weight at around 6.5# or a little under. Don't recall exactly. I've had both and the Tikka shot better. I picked up another Tikka but haven't shot it yet, Still have some handloads that shot great in it's predecessor. Still, I'll work up some loads and hopefully will end up where these are loaded to. Good luck!

Remington 700. I’m not selling my 270 Weatherby either, but I like the short one also. I've had 2 700 CDL-SFs in .270 WSM. One shot ok, one didn't, but the main problem was neither would magazine feed well enough. I'm not into hunting elk with a bolt action single shot so I punted them. I haven't seen a smooth feeding 700 in a WSM except a couple that were converted to single stack and I'm not willing to give up the extra shell in the magazine. I don't think WSMs and 700s are a good fit. I've thought about a Win 70 or Kimber ... could happen. Maybe. Probably not, though.

The new Model 70 extreme would fit the bill, I like the older trigger better on the 70 though.
