I know this is not a recent thread but there are still gun owners that may have DuraTouch concerns. I recently sent my firearm to Browning to fix the “sticky residue” issue. Browning is very helpful with the process and I have no doubts they will do what is required of them(per the class action suit). I will give an update as to how long it takes and ultimately what they did to resolve my issue. Stay tuned.
PS. From what I’ve read on the internet, the MOSSY OAK pattern has been discontinued and you are likely to get the Shadow Grass pattern on your stock.

I’m just hoping they rebed the replacement stock if that is what’s required. I doubt any one will be getting the Mossy Oak pattern because it has been discontinued. That’s a shame too,
the original Mossy Oak pattern and tones were one of the reasons I bought the rifle. And I’m not a big fan of camo patterns to begin with. I only own one. However, considering they are fixing or replacing at no cost to me, I will have to live with it. Also,I hope if they opt to replace my stock, it shoots as accurately as it did.

Got an email saying I will get a new stock. I then called and when I asked if it it will be bedded they said yes. Also,with the holidays it should be 6-8 weeks for them to get it back to me.
That all sounds good to me. When I get it back I’ll post the outcome.

I have a Browning BLR shot show special that is Mossy Oak Brush with stainless barrel and receiver. Has a Leupold VX3 2.5-8 on it. One of my favorite guns for shooting deer here in Michigan. Went to pull it out and run a few rounds thru it in October. Damn near couldnt let go of it. WTF. Ended up not taking it, used my other rifles. Wonder what they will do for a BLR stock? Shadow grass is for ducks, I cant possibly hunt deer with a duck rifle!!
