Improved Albright knot works well for me when joining braid to mono. Easy to tie too.

Improved Albright knot works well for me when joining braid to mono. Easy to tie too. I agree on the improved Albright is a better mono to braid knot but not easier to tie with the smaller diameter lines at least with MY FINGERS. I find the Berkley "Uni-knot" much easier to tie

I am also a big fan of the FG knot. Strong, casts and reels through the guides like a dream.

I've been tying uni-knots for so long, it's hard for my fingers to remember anything else.

Will a FG knot still work , even if the mono is only 6 or 8 # test?
Some spelling errors can be corrected by a vowel movement.
