Reloader 26 with long drop tube will get you 2950 fps and 5/8" groups, bug hole groups at 2850.

What's not to like? Great ammo selection, great ballistics and low recoil.

Yes I do appreciate something that makes sense. Both the Tikka and Montana are performing well. Used the Tikka on a caribou last month in AK.. One 143gr. ELD-X did the job at 275.

The accuracy isn't too bad even from factory rifles. This is the first 5-shot group at 100 yards fired with a used Ruger American Predator: 140 Berger VLD's with 41.5 H4350. (The 105-grain note on the target apparently came from testing a 6mm Creedmoor around the same time. Am getting old....)

I love mine! 5 shots at 100 yards. John That's a beautiful rifle and excellent shooting John. You should shoot the 1 moa all day long challenge in the AR and tactical rifle forum here. You would clean house with that kind of shooting. Honestly with my 6.5 creed, It's kind of like the 308win to me. Just kind of "ho hum". I really need to stretch the legs on the creed and see what it can do, but here's how my new rifle, with new brass, shoots 10 shot groups: So to say "everyone loves" (thread title) the 6.5 creed, well that is questionable. At least for me..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA
