How does this new chute design handle compared to old round one?

How does this new chute design handle compared to old round one? Cant say, I don't jump them, I just take photos. That day every guy I talked to said it was the best jump he ever made. Walk out of back and float down. There was no wind, just perfect. Well there was the one guy who landed in the new 12 inch lake the hurricane left on the DZ.

Had to crop this one a little odd for reasons, but thought it was neat to catch the shock wave of 1,600 pounds of C4 explosive going off.

The legend lives on......nice to see ya Lewis!
Biden's most truthful quote ever came during his first press conference, 03/25/21. Drum roll please...... "I don't know, to be clear." and THAT is one promise he's kept!!!

SGT Aaron Geer, right, of the 1 508th Airborne had “Rock” Merritt autograph a commemorative bayonet engraved with the 508th Airborne insignia. Corporal Merritt jumped in on D Day and again in operation Market Garden.

Great Shots, the low light boxing photos are very well done. What set up did you use to capture and freeze the movement of that in the low light. Thanks for posting.
I used to only shoot shotguns and rimfires, then I made the mistake of getting a subscription to handloader.......

Bob part of that is 4 years of hounding the event location, Sports USA on Fort Bragg to fix the lights. On my end down in the weeds, Nikon D 800, 24-70 2.8 Nikon lens f/5.0 1/250 ISO 2500. The D800 is not the best low light camera, but the colors and tones are so good I use it over the D4s I also had with me. settings are always a balancing act to get what you want. Luck on the timing helps as well. if you want to see all the photos from that bout, https://www.flickr.com/photos/fortbraggparaglide/albums/72157697272448762Lewis
