I've never had a custom rifle, so last winter I ordered a pair of barreled actions from Bighorn Arms. Polly Creed is a TL3 in 6.5 creed and Percy McBighorn is a SR3 in 6.5 PRC. Proof research carbon sendero light barrels, 20" on the creed and 22" on the PRC. Both wear Manners EH6A stocks, the creed is DBM and the PRC is BDL, TT diamond triggers, ARC M-10 rings. Sico Omega on the creed and Harvester on the PRC. I bought a pair of LRHSi's on the GAP clearance for them, but puked a Burris XTRII on my RPR and had to use one on it before the customs were ready. I tossed the LRHSi on Percy and bought a LRTS 3-12 for the lovely Miss Polly. I got the creed in, just before antelope season and the PRC the day before I left for elk camp. Neither got to kill their big game, so I had to draw first blood on smaller critters....

Good looking pair of girls. What do they weigh and what is the point of the wrap around the cans (I am asking honestly as I know little about suppressors, etc)?

the cans get HOT.... the covers keep you from looking thru the mirage off'n them. Not needed for just a couple shots.

Polly and Percy? What happened to the old man, Apollo?

Did he run off with Miss Kimberly?

Apollo the RPR is on the coffee table gathering dust now... Miss Kimberly felt left out during elk season, as Percy took her place this year. I even tried to send her out with otter6, but he never stopped by to take her out.

The plain EH6 is also a very nice stock... can’t decide which one is my favorite but the EH6A is definitely a little heavier...

Don, what kind of velocity are you getting with Percy? I’m thinking on a 22” Proof just like yours but with EH2 stock.

Awesome pair! Looks like the prc is on a short action? What did you do for a mag box on the prc? How does it feed? Who’s bottom metal did you use?

Since my first name is "Percival" (and I am a fourth straight generation "Percival", being first son), I approve of your rifle named "Percy".

and Polly whomped a cow for my kid..

[Linked Image from i26.photobucket.com]

Percy and Polly have another sibling on the way. A RimX action, 16 1/2"proof barrel in a AG stock in 22 LR. I shall name the new child Pippa. Pippa McPlinksqueak. Or should it be Plinky McPipsqueak?.....
