I want one, but probably not for the FC, unless I got a 4x. Some of the shots I get are very close, 20-30 feet, usually moving, and often in dim light first thimg in the AM. I know an "experienced" shooter is supposed to be able to shoulder his rifle and be lined right up, but a low end makes it easier.

Those are Low's. I DO wish they made X-Lows!

Agree. I emailed Leupold asking about plans to make lower one piece rings and they responded saying they would pass the input along to the folks designing their one piece mount. Would make this setup perfect.

I emailed Warne and Weaver about making bases for the Fieldcraft. Both indicated that mounts were not currently planned, but they supposedly forwarded my requests up the line.

Yes! I measured my barrel and bolt clearance with an SWFA 3-9, and X-lows (which I believe are a .1" drop from the Lows) would still allow the scope to clear, while really helping with cheek weld.
