Up for sale is my Francotte Knockabout 20 gauge side by side shotgun. It has 28 inch barrels, excellent wood and is in very nice shape. There are some minor handling marks in the wood and there are a couple of areas where the bluing is worn. The coloring from the case hardening process is mostly faded. Lock-up is good and function is excellent. More pictures are available on request. Asking $2950 shipped and insured. Will ship from an FFL or local pickup/delivery in Bozeman, MT.

I've never sold anything here before, so please let me know if there is anything else you need to know or would like from me.

Thanks for looking.

You are correct, of course. I'm just not sure how to tell with a Francotte. My Belgian Brownings all have those nice little asterisks that you can look up, but the Francottes are more cryptic. I also haven't found much help on the web. I'll see if I can nail it down in the morning. I might have to go out and buy myself a choke gauge. Thanks for the comment.

Well, I thought I had this gone, but it is still here so it is back to the top with some more information: Length of pull is 14 1/4 to the front trigger. Drop at comb is 1 3/8; drop at heel is 2 1/8. I'm not completely sure about the chokes, but I think they are either skeet/skeet or cylinder/cylinder. (Not sure how accurate the gauge was.) Please let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks for looking.
