Not sure if this or the Reloading forum is the appropriate place for this but what are some people's pet loads for their Barrett Fieldcraft 6.5 Creedmoor? 20" barrel

43.7 RL16 with a 140 Berger or 139 Scenar

Edit: 47.8 RL26 with the 147 also.

Work up accordingly

I've been shooting the 139 Scenar, 142 Accubond LR and 143 ELD-X in mine and the ELD-X tends to group the best. 41.5 H4350 gives the best accuracy with 42.5 RE 16 or 46.5 RE 26 in close second.

Jordan,

What velocities are you seeing from those loads?

Not a Barrett, but my 24-inch Criterion barrel likes 46 grains of Re 26, under the 147. It shoots them into 1/2 moa at 2747 fps.

143 grain Horny Precision Hunter. I can’t beat it. $26 a box here. I’ve never reloaded a round this accurate, but it is in a Fieldcraft.

Wish I could post pics here. I have a 21” Fieldcraft, had the barrel threaded 1/2x28 and I hang a 15oz suppressor on it. It works great and is a kitten to shoot with that silencer acting as a counterweight.

Anthony's Firearm Warehouse. They refunded me 10% for sending the wrong one. So that was nice!
