Charles Grassley and Matt Whitaker were both mentioned by Praying Medic. Iowa is well represented in Washington D.C. Chuck is squeaky clean and I'm sure the dems hate that since he has no skeletons in his closet they can exploit. I'm pretty sure Matt Whitaker is just as clean. Matt grew up in the city I patrolled for almost 30 years. I am unaware of any legal transgression Matt has been involved in, even as a juvenile. He had a great reputation as a federal prosecutor. That is why the democrats want Matt to recuse himself because they have nothing on him to hold over him. Matt basically told them to get lost.
I would like to think the game has truly changed. I hope the democrats do something really stupid to expose themselves even more. People do stupid things when they are under pressure. Stupid things equals negative public scrutiny.

The Democrats don't need a reason to hate any Republican, it's what they do. As for skeletons to exploit, not needed. Look at the skeletons in Kavanaugh's closet, where none exists the Democrats just create them. When actual skeletons exist in a democrat closet, The Media and the Democrats just ignore them. As with Kavanaugh, the Democrats and the Media will find plenty of skeletons in Whitaker's closets, maybe even a accusation of rape from 30+ years ago, maybe some good old fashioned planting evidence (Child Porn) on a PC. Besides, Judge Nappy has said that Whitaker can Not be acting AG and we all know how accurate Nappy is.
