According to a statement from the network's president Jay Wallace.
"FOX News supports CNN in its legal effort to regain its White House reporter’s press credential. We intend to file an amicus brief with the U.S. District Court. Secret Service passes for working White House journalists should never be weaponized. While we don’t condone the growing antagonistic tone by both the President and the press at recent media avails, we do support a free press, access and open exchanges for the American people."
The press is free to print whatever they wish (within legal limits). Access to news briefings is a privledge, granted by the organization. Not a right to be enforced upon private organizations by court orders. No such rganization should be forced to so grant.
Whatever happened to "journalists" working for their outrageously high salaries?
novel idea, abolish the WH press conferences and make the blood suckers hunt for news.
the consolidation of the states into one vast republic, sure to be aggressive abroad and despotic at home, will be the certain precursor of that ruin which has overwhelmed all those that have preceded. Robert E Lee ~Molɔ̀ːn Labé Skýla~
once again, and with feeling we're beginning to walk a thin line. ever thinner it seems like.
when one announces and holds a news conference, who is in charge?
what are the rules of engagement?
who decides what?
Maybe the public. The POTUS is a public office. I think it would be rather challenging to say that anyone can selectively keep out one group and not another. President of a private corporation like a football team holding a press conference, sure, no problem. Office of the President of the United States? I don't think that flies. But you never know. After all, he has bought at least 2 votes on the SCOTUS.
Trump should allow the whole bunch show up for press conferences,...then just don't go out and talk to them. Just let them sit there until they get tired of it and go home.
There's no law that says the President has to talk to the White House press corps.

Group? They suspended the pass of one ass, no group was singled out. CNN must have a pulse capable of filling in for JA.
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.
That's how to handle Acosta. Give him back his press credentials and then not attend any press conference that he's at.
Pretty soon the rest of the press corps will run him off.
Having access to the White House doesn't mean that you have access to the President. Trump is a citizen like the rest of us. He doesn't have to talk to anyone he doesn't want to.
members of the wh press conference/corps is very selective. there's not enough space in the room to allow a rep from every single news org. in the world that might want to attend. just how large would such a facility have to be? and how would the "crowd" be managed?
give everyone a ticket, and then hold a drawing as to who gets to ask a question? maybe given a one? hour news conference, those on the top of the lottery list get's drawn? anyone becoming combative gets escorted to the door? describe combative? shoes being thrown? tomatoes, maybe vile words?
Or,.......Trump could attend the press conference and not ask a question of anybody except Acosta. Let Acosta ramble on endlessly,...answer every question with "I've already addressed that,...next question".
Then,..when Acosta finally hands off the mic, Trump should end the press conference and leave the room.

Fox is better than the others but far from conservative.
.........and getting farther every day.. This latest BS where they joined CNN's lawsuit totally pizzed me off.. I sent a bunch of 'em (Hannity, Hegseth, Perino et al) notes that if they were truly conservative - they'd RESIGN, TODAY..
Watch FOX ratings go down like the Costa Concorida... We're DONE in this household..
