Very nice all original rifle. Made on the commercial FN Belgium Mauser 98 action. Chrome-lined 30-06 barrel VG bore. Original sights. Stock is in excellent condition. Never bedded. Includes Warne steel 2-pc mounts. Only issue is purely cosmetic just behind the muzzle (I think mouse pee) - see pics. It has had 3rd hole drilled and tapped in rear bridge for common mounts with wider screw spacing.

$435 shipped from individual to FFL in lower 48.

That's a good buy. Normally, a complete action would bring that much!

Wow. Why is the rifle still not sold? FN commercial action. All steel bottom metal. Factory trigger is just fine, but Timney or Bold aftermarket are available for about $50.

I’ve owned three of them, still have two. All shot 1.5 moa or better.

A walnut stocked, modern commercial Mauser action ( meaning great alloy composition, and not a “ bubba sporter” , blued steel “ real rifle, with scope bases Somebody buy this high value rifle. Barrels were made by High Standard ( very good quality), and chrome-lined to boot for corrosion protection.

I own one as well. Compared to the new rifles in the price range there's no comparison. This is very close to a pre 64 Wincester. I have a Dayton Traistar trigger in mine. Zero complaints

Mad money reserved for a new shotgun. But I'd buy and send it to Jkob and have him return it in 9.3x62 with a side swing safety . And I am fond of the 30-06. Damn that is a great price.

I have thought the same. But don’t need any more custom rifles. And this one is not good for a rebore with the chrome lining. But a great ‘06!
