Are there any companies that make a left hand 17 rem with a 9 twist? Or, is there anyone looking to sell one?

You might take a look at Cooper.

I know I'm really narrowing my options, but Cooper's out of my budget.

I shoot the Fireball and if I need more distance, I'll move to a 204 Ruger.

I might have to do the build route, I'm not in a huge rush right now though. I've also considered using a right handed rifle.

That would be a great way to see if you really want to go with the 17. Lots of RH models available I would think.

This is the way I went on my 17 Remington. Would not trade it for the world.

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

I know I want a lefty, but for coyote hunting a righty wouldn't be all bad. Shooting from a tripod or prone, I could keep my finger on the trigger while cycling the bolt... quicker follow up shots.

That sound like a great way to set up an ND.

I would recommend you try it before you make that commitment. You may be moving a rifle much more than you think and a RH rifle from a prone position or from a bipod.

I have a left-hand Kimber of Oregon Model 84 in .17 Remington, but it would take a lot to pry it away from me. grin
