Post 64. I believe it was made in the 80s. I bought it about 10 or 12 years ago and it has been my favorite rifle. The previous owner had a scope on it so there's a flat mounting plate on the side. I tried once to remove it but the screws that held it are too long. Been meaning to take care of it but life's priorities always interfere. Am I using the right term for these screws and where can I order some?

Set screws are something else. Do the heads of the Too Long Scope Mount screws fit into the receiver?
If so you could cut them to the right length. If not that then this guy seems to have what you need...
