They've sucked all the fun out of the armed forces...

I read it twice and fail to see the problem.

Maybe he just needed to get some flight hours. The thing is, if he had flown commercial, he still could have doinked the colonel and nobody would have known. He needs to learn how to be a little more covert.

I fail to see what banging the other officer has to do with any of it.

Did a lot of trips that resulted in fun but along the way training was always done and accounted for. Did the Col shoot an ILS approach at Andrews? Did he do a no flap/no slat practice approach? Did he log flight hours? Did he stop in an MOA on the way down and do some training? All required on an ongoing basis to be qualed. Heck we routinely flew from NAS Whidbey to NAS Oceana for meetings and conferences. Sometimes we even met a KC-135 or KC-130 over the middle of the country and did some aerial refueling so we didn't have to stop. Much ado about nothing and pretty sure someone had another issue with him and used this as an excuse.

Had a friend that was a fighter pilot...
He told me they were required to get so many hours flight time, and had pretty much no restrictions on where you could fly in the continental U.S.

Sounds fishy to me. Someone had a thing for one of them and this was the opportunity.

Someone ratted him out while he was in D.C. He had to fly home commercial and they sent another pilot down to fly the plane back. He had enemies before this this trip began for someone to have turned him in that quick.

Warriors need booty calls, what’s the problem?
I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first

Two things......when compared to the real problems facing this country, crap like that ain't even a blip on the radar.
Secondly, if had been 2 queers meeting, nothing would have happened.
