I am looking to sell my custom built 30-06 from Elkhorn Precision Rifles (Tim Cronin)….the fit/finish on this rifle is THE BEST in the business. Rifle has approximately 80 rounds through it, and is in as new condition. Rifle will shoot anything you want to feed it....easily a 1/2" rifle...NO BS!!!
Here are the specs:
30-06 caliber = Chambered with 30-06 Serengeti Reamer
Surgeon 1086 Repeater Action w/ tactical bolt knob
McMillan Rem Hunter stock = 13 5/8" LOP, 1/2" Decelerator pad, magnum fill, painted and hand finished by Tim in flat black
Stock has been custom pillar bedded and hand finished to a PERFECT fit that Tim is known for - its unreal how good it is!!
Krieger Stainless Barrel = 1-10 twist, #5 contour, 4 groove, heavy spiral fluting from Kampfeld, recessed target crown, 23" finished length
Hawkins Precision bottom metal w/ Rem mag box, spring, and follower
Jewell trigger tuned to 2#
All metal (including fasteners, follower, mag box, etc....) are Cerakoted. Barreled action is Mil-Spec Olive Drab with Graphite Black accents on bolt knob, bolt release, shroud, sling studs, and floor plate release.
Looking to get $3900 shipped/insured for the rifle.

Nope....never weighed it!!
I would call it a medium weight rifle...not a mountain rifle but not a chunk either. Rifle handles and balances perfectly!!

Tim's work is top notch and so is the seller. He doesn't build anything that's short of a dream rifle. Can someone help with getting some pictures posted here...Thanks!! I think I've posted pics since the change, so I think I might can help you.
