Yes. I most vividly remember "Mid-day Meditations" on either 4 or 9 that cut into the time allotted for cartoons. I was not pleased.

Fulton J. Sheen I think. I remember his name but not ever watching much of his TV program. AT the time I was more into the Mickey Mouse Club and Hopalong Cassidy.

I was 6 when apollo 11 landed on the moon.
That is my earliest TV memory
Other early TV memory is Walter Cronkite on the news with the friendly and enemy kia,wia and Mia numbers on the news from Vietnam.

The first tv show I can remember watching was "Wanted: Dead or Alive," but "Gunsmoke" was on my short list also.

Steve McQueen made more of an initial impression on me and he wore this hat with a short, flat crown and the brim rolled up on the sides. Being three years old and impressionable I thought this was the way my own cowboy hat should look. For reasons I cannot explain I deduced that the way to make my hat look like Josh Randall's was to harvest green grass from the front yard and roll it up in the brim of my hat. The plan seemed to work at first, but when I sauntered into the house with all that grass rolled up in the brim of my hat, Mom came pretty much unglued and the practice was banned permanently. At that point I started thinking Matt Dillon's hat looked much better and my hat kinda looked like his already anyway, so I assumed the identity of Marshall Dillon and I was pretty serious about it. That was the only name I would own up to when I met new people and that went on for about a year.
