Thanks, Jim. I use Paula Deen's recipe, but add parsley and double the gravy.
I have an original Bolognese recipe from Italy. It is much drier and less tomato based than anything I see most Americans making.

Was not feeling well last night. Kept it simple. 2 pieces of buttered toast, and a cup of hot chicken broth. Was in bed and asleep by 8pm.

With all the talk about beer braised brats I decided to try. No recipe....but it turned out great....like very great. Budweiser beer, beef broth, onion, garlic, salt pepper, Worcestershire and some seasoned salt. Mashed potatoes too. My home made venison bratwurst.
