I had no doubt that you and your dad would wow us again.

You’re lucky to have this time with your father, never could get mine interested in deer hunting.

Two fine Bucks there. Congratulations again!!!! Thanks for letting us have a small glimpse of how it all came together.

However, with all the rain, how did you not have to go swimming again to bring one out?πŸ˜€

Thank you for the GREAT thread. I love it when the topic is presented so the reader actually feels a part of the action. @ 73 years of age it is a GREAT feeling to WANT to get out there and be part of everything. You guys have deer I can only dream about until I realize that deer hunting is deer hunting. It is a great accomplishment to get the drop on a deer without causing the animal any amount of alarm. 6.5 Creed is a great caliber. Thanks for the great report and pictres.

Figured a single pile of innards would keep things a bit more tidy.

Good stuff Scott, looks like you and your dad had another memorable hunt. Congrats to you both for taking 2 really fine bucks. Appears the new rifles from Nate are working for you, I sure do like the looks of the new 6MM Creed, Nate really outdid himself on that one!!

You did take a kayak with you. right?

5 deer, thats a lot of dragging, Scott. Your Dad told us once that you are good at it. laugh

Congrats to you and your Dad on some nice bucks.

The buzz here on the fire is your hunt is going to be the "poster" thread for the Creedmoor crowd. grin

All the best,

Wayne

Congrats again on a great buck. I'm glad you held off and got the buck you were looking for. Tough to do, but I'm glad it happened!
