Can anyone recommend a reputable guide in Northern California who has access to quality hog hunting property?

Antelope Valley Hunting Club out of Maxwell. John Alvernaz runs the pig hunting on a 6000 acre ranch. Hunted with him a few years ago and my partner and I both got nice pigs. Saw a lot of animals. 530-870-2710 avhc144 yahoo.com. Keith

My son and I had a good hunt at Dash Ranch. https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/12122094/1I'll only add that you should buy your license and tags online well before the hunt starts. We waited until we got to California to buy them and it was a hassle because we ran into an inexperienced clerk who didn't know how to run the system for out-of-state hunters. Okie John
If Montana had a standing army, a 270 Win with Federal Blue Box 130's would be the standard issue.

Hanco, From the few I've checked it costs roughly $750 to a grand or so. Some places offer lodging and food, dealing with the carcass, etc

I’ve heard good things about DJ Peck
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

Shay Balesteri aka bigboarstopper on some hunting boards. Not sure if he guides in the area you want but worth a call.

"Go to the sporting goods store. From the files, obtain form 4473. These will contain descriptions of weapons and lists of private ownership."

I will second DJ Peck. Hunted with him 2 years ago. Great guy and will put you on the pigs. He hunts an area thats 40,000 acres plus, we saw 50 plus pigs during our hunt and killed 4.

It’s fun to kill pigs, I’ve gotten a little tired of it. We kill them, trap them, doesn’t seem to be doing any good.

I wonder how much the fires have affected these ranches?

Okie John, did you have your pig processed in California or back home in Seattle?
