Have I seen this movie before?? Mediocre coach(Fromm/Gus), who pulled off a big win or 2, threatens to leave for home; current employer writes big check and extension. Said coach goes to bowl against mediocre team and gets boat motored ; while wife is having Christmas shopping season of her life.
Is Sexton his agent?? Coaching salaries for average coaches are OUT of control.

Welcome to the SEC. Won't be the last blow-out by an SEC them this bowl season. The best football in the SEC is played by the teams in the west division. With the exception of Georgia, the east is pretty weak. Vandy got beat in their bowl game, and I imagine Kentucky will as well.

handing out an embarrassing, absolute beat down to Purdue from the mighty Big 10. 42-7 early in the 2nd qtr...........Purdue should get on the bus and go home at halftime. ‘Twas a beat down, for sure. If Auburn played like that every Saturday, they’d likely be in the CFP. Brohm was out of smoke + mirrors, and laying an epic turd on the field definitely wasn’t a good look after the Louisville drama. Still, I doubt any coach could have done much in this game given the roster. The difference in the Jimmies + the Joes was palpable. Purdue has inked their best class ever for 2019... but it’s still Purdue’s best class - it ain’t exactly the highest bar in the world... While they’ve got some heralded receivers coming in, they sorely need beef in the trenches. Purdue is 2 seasons removed from the 9-33 Hazell debacle. After starting 0-3 this year, a bowl game seemed like a pipe dream. Somehow, they beat 3 ranked teams, but lost to Eastern Michigan and got whipped by Minnesota. One team over performed their way into this bowl, and the other underperformed their way into it. FC

Welcome Purdue to SEC football. And, this year Auburn is just a middle of the pack SEC team...... not one of the powerhouses. Is this what Alabama is going to do to Oklahoma today?

I think Alabama will win, but wouldn't be overly shocked to see them lose. Their offense should be able to score points, but there have been times when their defense was leaky.

Or, The first half is a decent game and at half time the coaches makes adjustments and Alabama dominates the rest of the game.
There have been a few exceptions, but that is usually it.

Or, The first half is a decent game and at half time the coaches makes adjustments and Alabama dominates the rest of the game.
There have been a few exceptions, but that is usually it. That's what sets Bama apart from everyone else.......Saban and his staff knows how to make adjustments.

Purdue beat Ohio State didn't they? Yep. And it was a route too. Caused Urban to retire. Ruined his health. Not quite. Meyer is and has been suffering from a cyst on his brain. Been battling it for quite some time. Damn gentlemanly of you to offer your thoughts though. Sorry about Meyer, didn’t know that. SEC galls you too? FMR you are self-important aren't you. The day I gauge my worth or even what kind of day I am having based on what happens on a college football field is truly a sorry day for me. I guess I can't say the same for you huh?

Gus Malzahn is an offensive genius, you may not agree with me, but he is. When he is calling he plays like he was in the bowl game, his teams usually fair pretty well. Take the play calling away fom him, and well it's not always a good thing.

I know Nick has to be pissed after their win. Alabama made some STUPID mistakes/penalties in the 2nd half that was a little uncharacteristic of them.

Gus is deserving of another raise and extension; PLEASE. He is obviously in the top ten 8-5 coaches in the country. ROLL DAMN TIDE!
