I am a visual learner. Can anyone direct me to a video showing where and how to polish the bolt raceway, and corresponding bolt surfaces, of a typical center-fire bolt action gun (Winchester Model 70, for example) to smooth its cycling? I am not talking about lapping the bolt lugs, just polishing the raceway/bolt.

Also, are there any videos out there on how to polish the ammo feed path for smoother cartridge feed?

I found a couple of videos on Youtube, but they were either directed towards .22 rimfire bolts, or were pretty superficial. I'd like to see more details.

TIA

I'd check Larry Potterfield's series of gunsmithing videos, he probably has something on the subject.
