When it was time to clean up the shop, they were to be tossed out. My uncle was a pack rat, and here you have it. Its a true piece of naval history. It is old, fragile, yellowed, and frayed on some corners from being rolled up for what, 60 years? Its about 34” x 30”. Remember, this is a ships copy, NOT the actual map. M50 20ga pigeon grade thierry duguet plate 4, 3 bbl set with gold inlays. the engraved bbls are 26" skeet/28"mod/28"full with gold wash filler. all three are round post ribs. the carrier and bolt are jeweled as well as the recoil op rod. the wood is correct factory winchester aa select pigeon grade with a 14 1/4 lop over a red winchester retro pad. a period buttplate has also been fitted to the stock for a 13 3/4" lop. in order for the pad to be fitted, the hollow cavity inside the stock had to be filled and blocked for the pad screw to catch wood. the grip is a full horn and cut thin for small hands. the gun was at one time a pachmyar 28ga conversion gun, but didnt function well. the original owner had it converted back to 20ga. this is why youll note a pachmyar 20ga chamber with the unique chamber gas rings. the previous owner shared the fact that the original owner changed from pad to plate for seasonal use to fit his thick jacket up north. the original red rubber pad rotted and the retro pad was installed in the late 80's when galazan really made red replacement pads, not their current orange-red ones. about the same time the gun pad was replaced, thierry duguet was contracted to do a plate 4 on the gun. thierry was an up and coming engraver who found favor with winchester as a sub contract engraver for the the high grade super-x series guns for usra. thierry was eager to do this plate for the owner. it is well executed with gold outlines. though the gun is used, the gun has never been fired since being upgraded 3 decades ago. this is a one of a kind model 50. make it yours. 5000.00+ ship. as is.

the double auto listings are under misc, not guns. its the bbl only.
but.........I do have one of only 4 light red guns ever let out of the factory. its a 3 bbl recessed rib set. 26" skeet, 28" full trap, and 28" full. skeet bbl has the rare 3 bead skeet ivory sighting system. trap full bbl is a wider groove than a standard recessed rib. comes with a provenance tracking it back to the shipping dept at browning. bunches of papers from a bca collector friend now past, goes with it. would pass for new. all for 25,000.00 plus ship. as is. serious inquiries only. pics only go to those serious about buying it. this is not a fake. its the holy grail of collecting.

ok, this is the story with my collets. first off, im not a machinest. my father was (r-i-p) it is a set of 28 collets and some cutters. its a good spread of sizes since he was a gen-contractor. with the help of a member here, we determined that the collets being offered for 150 plus ship was well undervalued. so i pulled my offer. i offered them as is pot luck, but the majority of those interested insisted that i give more info on them, like sizes, maker, wear etc...i knew nothing about them and had them stuffed in a box ready to ship 1500 miles away. i understand people dont want to pay 150 for chinese junk when they can get new chinese stuff shipped for 75.00. fine. i understand the concern they had for what i was selling. but sometimes it backfires. in this case, if someone just bought it as is, like i advertised it, they would have made out like a bandit. why? im honest and knew they were good. i told all the people calling on these collets that they were old, and that my dad told me in 1996, that the sound of quality is they chime like a bell when you strike them. all these collets are well over 30-40 years old. turns out most came with his south bend lathe when he bought it. i just had one person help me determine that what i had was much more valuable than thought. i had to pull my offer because he wouldnt give me a straight answer as to the value per collet. i went to ebay and based on maker alone, i saw why. my set is well worth 300.00 shipped. i sent this info to the interested party and never heard back from him. i was and still am willing to reward this fellow for his knowledge by allowing him to make an offer, but im not going to let it go for 150.00. hope he calls back. if not, im putting it all on gunauction.com.

i melted these into a lyman mold years ago from soft boat ballast and tire weights. made them shiny by dropping some nickles in the pot. all slag is removed. 2.50 a pound is 125.00 plus ship. it will fit in a usps med flat rate box for 16.10. add that in the cost and its yours. 141.10 shipped. no int sales. as is. the usps scale trumps mine. if i get it there and its less or more.....as is. im not bringing it home and unpacking it to make it perfect. when it hits 50 on my scale at home, i close it up and ship it. fair enough?
