Fry some bacon, remove the bacon, steam & fry the brussels in the bacon grease with a little salt & pepper. Add the crumbled bacon back in, serve.

I covered em in chocolate for the boy on Halloween. He’s still pissed. A single caramel coated onion on a tray of caramel apples can really liven up a Halloween party too. Next year. I guess it was actually Easter not Halloween. Not too happy when they open up the plastic eggs and they’re full of Brocolli, Cauliflower and Carrots.

A guy in our office brought a big Krispy Kreem donut box. Inside was a veggie tray. He was not popular that day.

I like them. Not many vegetables I don't like, although I can do without cauliflower and turnips.

wife quarters them, cooks them with olive oil and light seasoning in the oven
Not bad this way. Then a light coat of Balsamic. Half the juice of a lemon then toss on oven roasting pan. One of my favorites...

Wife loves them, I can't stand the nasty things. She tried to grow some last year but the bugs and chickens took care of that!

Anything that the bugs and critters devour before you get to eat them must be tasty stuff, don'cha think?

I like 'em. Wife fry's them in a bit Olive oil, diced walnuts and a bit of brown sugar. Tasty bastids. Gonna have her try the bacon thing. Sounds good.

I don't sound clear but you may have understood anyway. Toss with lemon juice after the EVOO salt/pepper/garlic powder topped roasting.... This method is awesome with broccoli too. Same cooking method.

I eat them like candy on this diet. I bake them in butter until they are thoroughly browned and caramelized.

Frozen, they are absolutely horrible. Not worth eating.
Fresh, halved and grilled or roasted with olive oil, it is our favorite vegetable.
My teenage daughters love them. They are good right now. Such a late fall vegetable, better after being touched lightly with frost. Come spring, stop buying them.

Wife likes them. First time I had them was for dinner at the firehouse. Green Giant frozen with a cheese sauce are tolerable.

Worst vegetable there ever was, made to eat them as a kid can't even stand the smell of them now. Cauliflower holds the distinction of the worst vegetable in my estimation. Whoever declared it edible should have had his a$$ kicked up around his shirt collar.

Went to a fancy working-dinner thing with the wifey and her cronies. They had these blackened looking slug things in a pan with a blue flame under it.
I thought hmmm, what the hell...I usually will try mystery meat.
Turned out it was brazed, quartered brussel sprouts. Gaggg!!!!
