Randy Weaver at a gun show. I'd just read "Every knee shall bow" and when I saw him I felt so sad for what he'd been through I could barely talk to him. First time I replied how low our Govt had sunk.

Was once pushed out of line waiting for the Big Dipper roller coaster in Santa Cruz by Marilyn Quayle's secret service detail. She cut in line.

Met and chatted with Buck Owens at his nightclub in Bakersfield. Nice guy, he bought a round too.

On the top floor of a South Lake Tahoe casino for a wedding I was waiting for an elevator. When the door opened there stood Mary Kay of cosmetic company fame. Despite being about 108 years old she looked pretty darned sexy. She was a little lost, looking for her grand daughter's wedding. My wife was thrilled, as she was a Mary Kay consultant at the time and they sat and visited for quite a while.

If politicians count, I met both Carter and Reagan.
Aside from that it was Olivia Newton John, Paul Newman, and Ted Nugent

Was hanging in a bar in Ketchikan and Steve Rinella walked in. We got to talking and he asked me a few questions about some hunt opportunities in the area. Shot darts with some of his crew, they sucked. It was a good time, talked to him for a couple of hours. He was headed to POW to some property his brother owns.

When I was in high school Jane Goodall came and talked at our school. My dad was a teacher there so I got to meet her.

Ms. Linda Carter & I used to talk 3-4 times every week, after I retired from the Army in NOV 2006 & took a job as a "troubleshooter" for an HVACR company in MD. - I talked to her by phone so often because she has a VERY large home in suburban MD, with 8 separate HVAC systems & then was having NUMEROUS problems with the systems.
(WONDER WOMAN was her gig on TV.)

Mrs____________ (NO I won't tell you her married name, where she lives and/or name of the the VERY rich doctor that she is married to. - He has a LOT more bucks than she ever made on TV.)

LOVELY, SWEET, lady. - She used to cook lunch for our techs, who went out to work on her systems. She also made them homemade cinnamon rolls. - Once she sent me a 5-layer chocolate cake with "double chocolate icing".
(Can you guess who is DEATHLY allergic to chocolate?? = ME, darn it.)

My coworkers LOVED her cake. - She enjoys baking & is good at it.

Also, in 1983, when I was the Army's planner for the 1984 SUMMER GAMES in LA, my then GF & I were eating lunch at our favorite Chinese "hole in the wall" & that only had 5 tables for 6 & 4 stools at the bar. - GREAT "made when you ordered it" from FRESH ingredients, too.
On that day, we had just ordered off the chalkboard, when I heard a male voice & thought, "He sounds like Paul Newman" say, "Pardon me, may we join you for lunch?" and "What's GOOD here?" - I responded, "Everything is good."
(YEP. Paul Neuman & Joanne Woodward.)
He & I said little to each other, as the two ladies "chattered away" like old BFF the whole meal & neither of us, "got hardly a word in edgewise" between talk about shoes, purses, LindaJo's cascade of shinning "butt length" black hair, getting their nails done, shopping, etc.,etc., etc.
NICE guy though from what little that he could say, before as they left, parting with a handshake and, "Thanks for letting us share your table."..

yours, tex

I think I got drunk with Ray Price one night in a Odessa dive. That's who he said he was.

Had pie and coffee with Red steagall and his wife back in 01?
Met Jerry Springer at a rodeo in Beaver Creek Colorado in 03 right after my ride.
Met Dennis dougard former governor of SD. He actually came to meet me.
Seen a few others I could have shook hands with, but didn't care to.

I didn't think about Jim Shockey being a celebrity. I went bear hunting with him on Vancouver Island and he seemed pretty normal to me...

Spent 3 days in a Nevada wilderness with Toni Tennile, she's a real sweetheart. TALL, towered over me.

Hunted deer with George Siefert, real down to earth guy who tipped well.

Denise Luna, Playboy Bunny & pro bull rider. Seemed like a lot of fun, later she was in a reality love triangle show, went nuts after the male co-star shunned her. she tossed rocks through all the windows in his house.

I met 2 ladies that hosted the Playboy TV Show "Night Calls 411" when we were out drinking at a little bar in downtown Chicago many years ago. It made for an interesting evening.
