That's the cause of the "review cases at home" scheme they're running now. When word of her death does get out, I look for the house to immediately start impeachment proceedings. That will be drawn out as long as possible to keep it out of the senate. The idea is just to try to throw enough doubt on the President so that any nomination he forwards is under a cloud of suspicion from the get go. Cohen’s testimony on February 7th was supposed to kick off the drive to the Trump impeachment in the House. The infamous leak and Buzzfeed story was supposed to ramp it up into a frenzy. Then, with Trump under impeachment proceedings, they were going to scream to the high heavens that Trump shouldn’t be able to nominate a Supreme Court justice, particularly one so pivotal, while under impeachment proceedings. And the frenzy might be enough to get RINOS like Collins, Romney, and anfew others to go along with it. But if RBG kicks off before the frenzy gets going real good, then it preempts and changes the narrative. Last edited by JoeBob; 01/21/19.
