The media only shows a brief clip that appears to show a prep school kid taunting a Native American. The man even gave interviews claiming the kids surrounded him, intimidated him, menaced him, etc. The full video shows the opposite. The school kids never moved, never approached him. It was the Native American who approached them when he saw the Trump hats, got awkwardly close and got right in the face of one student who never moved. The sad part is that everybody who should have known it was just another in a long line of fake White on minority hate incidences threw these kids under the bus based solely on the MSM's characteristically fake news report.
The kids have video supporting their side and several liberal rags have had to back track. Unfortunately for Steve King of Iowa, he has no video or a recording of the conversation with the New York times and he is still getting fried.
Is it possible that Steve King is the victim of a hit just like what happened to the kids from Kentucky ?? I'd say so.

ACTUALLY the TOTAL fault for the whole "big deal" was that of a group of adult Black men, who call themselves, "Black Israelites" AND of the LEFTIST PRESS, who KNOWINGLY LIED about what happened.
Those men started screaming obscenities at the HS kids, threatening all the evil things that should be done to "white people" & tried to get the HS boys to respond.- The HS kids did NOTHING wrong.
I watched the entire "incident" on an Internet video & you should, too. = You will see that what the press reported was 100% FALSE. - Yet another obvious case of: 100% FAKE NEWS. (For your information, The video reveals that the "Native elder" approached the HS boys, rather than the boys approaching him.)
Not nearly enough chaperones with those kids. I was surprised to hear there were any at all, where were they? Ain’t saying the kids were in the wrong, from a teacher’s perspective they just got lucky nobody got hurt. Someone still might.
Anytime ya got a 17yo become the de-facto leader of the group you ain’t doing your job, not by a long shot.

The so-called "Black Israelites" managed to separate the kids from their chaperones, by surrounding the kids, so that they were essentially "alone". - Just another part of the PRE- PLANNED "put up job", to try to make a few "white boys" LOOK like they were being HATEFUL & RACIST.
Obviously, the LEFTIST PRESS was deeply involved in that effort.
