Good vittles all around, bean soup at the wabigoon ranch.

Ground beef mixture for soft tacos.

Onions, red&yellow bell peppers, mini hash size potatoes, ground new mexico chili & cumin& thyme, granulated garlic, salt, pepper, pinot grigio to simmer and deglaze.

Flour tortillas

Romano cheese, salsa and Tapatio for toppings.

Big Jim, please stop that!!

A cold can of pork-n-beans. Ate it out of the can with a plastic spoon. No muss, no fuss, no dishes to clean.

That Sir Owl is a real "H" mans meal!

Here dumplings are more like Homemade noodles.

Grilled cheese sandwich and Tomato soup last night.

I even broke down and made my own soup this time......so easy and soooo much better despite the canned tomato's.

I solemnly swear that I will never eat canned Tomato soup again so help me Allah.

My Italian meat loaf and Brussels sprouts soon.

I was rooting around my 6x6 ranger found a can of spam. Like Christmas morning for me, ate it from the can hands covered in that jelly concocation yummy!

Fish stick soft tacos topped with asian slaw and horse radish ranch dressing.

Tapioca pudding for dessert.

Just trying to digest a Big Mac at the moment.

Chicken noodle and kale soup.

Braised oxtails with a wild mushroom risotto. Was outstanding, if i do say so meself.

The sauce was so good, I'm seriously contimplating spooning some over the bowl of ice cream I'm fixing to eat.

I'm going to try to remember to visit more often. Had to go back a few pages to catch up. Sam's peasant dishes made me wish I was still in E. WA where I could hunt the dang things right out the back door.

James, now I've got a hankering for chicken and dumplings.....................thanks.

Tonight's was rather nice here. Pork roast and vegies. (carrot, turnip, celery, taters)



Wouldn't call it amazing, but it was delicious and filling.

PS, Fat City.............................there's some carnitas makings there. My cast iron will be getting a work out this week. Gonna hafta whip up some homemade tortillas for that.

Oh yeah, shred it toss it a pan with a some pork fat for a little crisp, salsa, crema, guacamole, hot fresh tortillas, boom.
