Gentlemen,

SHOT is next week and this time around I will be there for the whole thing. If any of you are going and want to get together, shoot me a PM and we will work something out.

I will do my usual show wrap up afterwards, but I will also be uploading updates via social media as I go along. If you are on Facebook or Instagram, I go by Dark Lord Of Optics on both of those.

So lets hope this the year NF puts ED glass in the 2.5-10x42 NXS, forceplex reticle, and gets it down to 16-17 oz...….A guy can wish lolololol

I don't always venture out into the sub-freezing darkness, but when I do, it is deer hunting season, and I carry a Remington. Stay hungry my friends.

I can say with 100% certainty....at least according to NF this morning....that they will NOT have the forceplex reticle in the NXS scopes...at least not this year. They did say they'd had many requests for it.

Yep, they told me the same. Also said they won’t put an exposed elevation on an SHV 3-10.

I would be very surprised if Nightforce introduces anything new in the NXS line. I hope they add something to the NX8 line, but I have no inside information on that.

SHV could use an improvement in optics, given the competition.

look at the plain ole mil dot. its the best low light reticle they have. the only thing I would think they could do with the NXS line is add in the features and form factor of the ATACR line, basically an ATACR line but with 30mm tubes instead of the crappy 34mm

The “plain ole”mil dot is discontinued in the 2.5 - 10 NXS.
Unfortunately.

I have a mil-dot NXS, and would prefer a Forceplex for hunting.

I would like to see an NX8 2.5-20x42.

If any of you are on Facebook, I am also considering doing a Facebook Live session at the end of each day, so that I can answer questions as they come in.

If ya have some pull with Swfa
Tell them knucklebunny's to come out with a ss 3-9×42 low capped plex reticle hunting scope.

PLEASE!!!

The ss 2.5 -10×32 is a cruel teaser to many of us.

A hunting version of the 3-9×42 would sell rapidly to those already in the know about swfa, and catch on fast with many others after people started seeing them and hearing about them.

I refuse to beleive SWFA hasn't contemplated them yet.

With the Mildot reticle....but your first premise to leverage the 8x capability is something that they have to be pondering...sell a boatload, almost despite whatever reticle they put in it.

Guys, I assure you that SWFA already has all the feedback from me that I could provide and, given that the 3-9x42 is one of my favourite scopes (I have two), I would really like to see a version of it with covered turrets.

I have minimal insight into what they plan to make until they are pretty close to production. As I mentioned elsewhere, they sometimes send me prototypes to look at and get my opinion, but that is largely it.

This, or at least one with more than the 2.5-10x32 has. It's absurd that they would make a hunting scope with 2.5" of eye relief.

Another bump, Ilya, keep us updated here. Lots of reasons many members here are not on those sites.

We appreciate the updates, see what's new in the binocular world.
