Just forget them bigazz kickin’ .405’s. Get you a .30 US Army and be done with it. 220 RN’s all day. Big medicine on anything from elk critters to Moro tribesman!

32-20 all the way

Just as we can see little reason for the 410 gauge to be used afield, so can we see little reason for a big husky man to carry a little 20 or 16 bore when he has the strength to handle the 12 perfectly. -Elmer Keith

I'm a bolt guy... accuracy, light weight... but I love my 1886 and these beautiful lever guns you guys are posting are pure gun porn! I'd love to have several more lever guns and time to shoot 'em all.

Even with mild / reduced cast bullet light loads ....

1895 in .405 would be my choice of the 3.

WoW!!!!!! Very nice!!!! Really like that carbine!

I have a 1895 in .30US circa 1900. Shoots great with full buckhorn rear sight.

I concur. Nice setup kaywoodie. Digging that cartridge belt accommodating both rifle and pistol cartridges. Whose 220's you loading? Hornady, Sierra ...?
