TRPs are quite nice. I bought one back when they were listed as semi-custom offerings from Springfield Armory. Back then, you actually had to order them from the manufacturer, and get put on a waiting list for one. Great shooting guns, and mine has been literally 100% reliable since the day I bought it back in the late 1990s (I don't know why they are listed as starting in 2001, because I'm fairly sure I received mine a year or two before that). It was my daily carry, and primary range gun, for several years. Of course, mine is in .45 ACP. Cool that they are now offering them in 10mm.
PS Chris Kyle carried a TRP in service overseas.

TRH, I’ve had a TRP tactical (non rail trp) for probably 10 years and its every bit as accurate as any 1911 I’ve ever had. The 10mm TRP RMR I expect will be the same.

I have had a Colt Delta in 10 mm for a few years and it is so much fun to shoot. I just picked up the TRP RMR long slide 6” today and I have to say the fit and finish is excellent. I found a website that has fantastic deals, 7.99 flat rate shipping of firearms, I ordered it Friday and got it from my FFL today. Check out grab a gun website. I do not have any affiliation and I use Whittaker's as well, but he didn't have any 6” slides in stock and in this case, it was the best price. I like that the sights on the TRP co witness the RMR as well. Here it is to give you an idea of size difference.

Local guy became fascinated with the 1006. We've been doing business a bit lately, and in a complicated multi item trade deal I get a new Ruger SR 1911 Target in 10mm and the 1006 has a new home.
This was after I went and handled a Springfield XD 10mm. That was pretty nice, but still doesn't feel as right as the 1911

I had the RIA and wanted to love it for the price. It shot and fed everything but the safety for some reason stuck out a little far and I had problems with it coming off safe and into fire position with just normal carry like getting into and out of a vehicle. Maybe just a isolated incident but I couldn't deal with that issue.

I have of have had several 10mm,s. I have owned 3 Colts and 3 RIAS 1911s. Currently still have 2 of the RIA guns. I have had no problems with them and enjoyed all of them. I also have 2 T/C Contenders so chambered. The contenders are neet little hunting guns and I have killed a bunch of stuff with them including several deer. I have killed a bunch of deer with the 1911 platform guns as well. I got my first Colt back in the early 90's. One of the contenders is actually chambered in 10mm mag. I kinda like 10mm guns!!
