Ordered a PacNor stainless Super Match yesterday for a new Dakota build.
8 twist, finish length at 24". Donor is a M-70 Classic Stainless Featherweight in 7mm Rem Mag.
Gene Simillion has agreed to take on the project.
The rifle has a classic featherweight stock with above average grain, so I'm going to keep the stock.
Going to swap out the mag box etc. so I can load the 160 partition to the base of the neck.
The 180 ELD will get a whirl as well.
Planning on replacing the factory pad with a 1 in red Decelerator and have Gene bed the rifle.
Maybe later on down the road sending it to Gary Goudy with a nice stick of Walnut I have sitting here.
