I just snagged a Marlin 336 on gunbroker.com . I plan on sending it off to JES to have it bored out to 38-55. The goal is to end up with an Ohio-legal centerfire deer rifle.

Just bought a couple 99’s, need to put scopes in them, see how they shoot. A 243 and a 358. I’ve never fired a 243 in my life. I’ve loaded lots of 243 rounds for grandkids. I’ve never fired a 358 either.

New to me guns keep showing up.

i just got 2 new rifles both brand new and still in the box, Ruger #1 in 44 mag and a Browning BLR s.s. in a 7 mm Rem Mag. the BLR has such nice wood it will be hard for me to hunt with this rifle, but i still will carefully.

Every year I tell myself no and every one of those years I end up adding adding at least one. This year will be no different. Already wanting to add another rifle from GA Precision.

I am always picking up a few guns. I have been interested in the .260 Remington the last couple of years. Picked up a Cooper in .260 and it is lights out. I then picked up a Rem 700 in .260 that has some customization. Mounted a Zeiss and now that our gun season closes tomorrow I plan test it out.
Last night I read an article on the new guns that came out at the SHOT show. Kinda have my eye on a .260 in the AR platform for this coming year.
A couple of year ago I built an AR in 6.8 SPC II and I really like using it for shooting whitetails and hogs.

I might get two more. I got a RAR Predator .223 Rem. But that's more for goofing off with. I'd like to get a M7600 in 06 or .270 and an M70 Extreme Weather in .308 or .7-08. Hell, I'll get as many as I can afford.

No, not me. I have all I really wanted.
In fact I may sell one. Browning BLR in 30-06. Cool gun and quite accurate, but I fin't I just don't hunt with it much.

I never really plan to get a new one. It just seems to happen!

Hell no ! I've already got more deer rifles than I can use. Bought a 6.5 Creedmoor last year and killed 2 deer with it this past season. Hunted my .30-06 a couple times before that and that was it this past season. That left eight "deer rifles" that never even got out in the woods. My .22-250 is two years old now and still hasn't seen the deer woods yet. I need another deer rifle like I need another hole in my head.

I added a Gun Storage Solutions rifle rod kit to my safe and almost doubled my capacity from 18 to 35, I’ve gotta buy something!! A Knight Ultra-Lite 50 cal is first on the list.

Might finally be able to order a NULA, if not I’ll probably buy a Kimber Montana or a Savage 16 Lightweight Storm. Probably 308 for any of them, or 257 Roberts for the first 2 options. Though if I come across a Winchester 70 or Ruger 77 in 270 or 257 I don’t think I could pass it up. Need another 22 and would like to get a muzzleloader but neither of those are quite as exciting to me.

I won't be getting any new ones most likely, but I am going to have some work done to a couple of mine. The 300saum is going to get rebarreled and my 243 is going to get cerakoted. Might refinish the stock on the 243 if I get ambitious.

I get a "new" one before every season. I work it into the rotation. While I'm hunting I'm often planning which ones I'll bring the following year. Then I buy something else and it messes up that plan.

For me it's more about the guns than the deer.

Nothing here, but there are still 4 unfired spares in the safe.

There's a long time between now and next deer season. I may end up buying 5 more rifles in that time.. Just sayin..

I'm always shopping, but don't often find something I would want, at a price I will pay.
I sure as heck don't need anything, so there are a few wants, but they have to be bargains.
Or, will buy anything, if it's too cheap. And not stolen.

Probably

I've been looking for a rainy day/crappy weather/truck gun for 8 months or so and haven't found anything. I was in WalMart (I know) last night and they have Savage Axis II stainless synthetic (I know) marked down to $239. With the $60 rebate, I doubt I'll find anything cheaper.

I haven't bought a new rifle in over 10 years.
