That makes sense. Reminds me of some country I have hunted north of the White River.

Vern, you mean this moose hat? Or this one? I don't have any photos handy of the last two versions we've made but they have improved a lot since our first efforts. Chet, we were a bit north of there but have been sheep hunting several times near the White River. Got a nice Fannin down there a while ago.

Fellow 'Fire Folks; Good evening one and all, I trust this finds you and your respective yours well and warm tonight as we all seem to be headed for the deep freeze. What better way to wile away the time than another log on the fire and some photos of past hunts and places we've been and seen. If you look up the south Okanagan for pictures, this very likely will come up - it's sorta a trademark site seeing thing of the south valley. Anyway it's more or less our back yard. The lake is Vaseaux Lake which is about a mile south of where I'm typing. This is Skaha Lake which is about a mile from here the other way. Couple more kilometers up the logging road behind the house looks like this. We'll see what else I can dredge up. Dwayne

Fellow 'Fire Photo Folks; Let's see if I can figure this out or not. These are local California Bighorn. The photos are on the bluff above where the photo of Vaseaux Lake were taken - but this is just the other day when we were on a walk. This guy came down the driveway Christmas Day - nice of him to let me know he made it through season. This guy came closer than the driveway - believe he'd recently converted to something or another.... One of the better yard bucks over the years. I'll see what else might be of interest a tad later. All the best to you all until then. Dwayne
