Nice wares!

I’ve one old Griswold pan. Belonged to Grammy. Pop was born in ‘33 and can’t remember the pan not being around. It may not be my best pan, but easily a favorite!

Great stuff Jud. Bacon fried in a Griswold pan is somehow better than bacon any other way!

Here ya go Judman:

Aebleskivers are basically a light pancake with beaten egg whites folded in after the batter is mixed.

3 eggs separated
2 cups buttermilk
2 cups flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
2 T. sugar
Combine dry ingredients
Combine buttermilk and egg yolks, add to dry ingredients and mix well
Beat egg whites until stiff and gently fold into the batter
Spoon into the hot, well buttered (or oiled) aebleskiver pan, turn halfway through cooking as you would a pancake
The wife usually uses a fork to get under an edge and rolls the aebleskiver over in the cup.
When done, roll them in sugar or dust with powdered sugar or serve with jam.
They were traditionally served with warm applesauce or sweetened stewed apples, hence the name.

Enjoy

No reason an ear of corn couldn’t be cooked in a corn bread pan.

It's been through a few.

It made music during the one ~6 weeks ago.

Very true. Some of mine were from my mom and possibly my grandmother prior. I've gifted 3 skillets to my daughter; 6", 8", and a 10".
