I know there may be lots of variables but can anyone give me a value range on such a rifle?
Thanks.

Depends on condition. Blue Book shows a range from $4,625 at 100% to $1,890 at 60%.

And options.
Wood upgrade, shadowline cheekpiece, quarter rib, front sight, etc. will all add value.
The Dakota 10 screams for a quarter rib IMO.

Wood quality and color case hardening will add to the price substantially.. I'd say you are looking at around $5k In good condition with some options.
I've never seen an $1850 Dakota 10....ever! If I ever do, I assure you that it will be coming home with me.

A few years back Hallowell had the most beautiful Dakota 10 I ever laid eyes on.
Wood was gorgeous, all the bells and whistles.
Caliber was .270, and I had 3 or 4 rifles so chambered already in the safe.
I passed, IIRC price was right around 6K.
To this day I regret not buying that rifle and re-barreling to 7x57.

A 60% Dakota 10 would show a lot of wear, but the action would still be good. Agree, if I see one at that price, it's coming home with me. DF
