I am surprised no one else has commented on the fact that the Chicago police are doing a pretty good job. I am impressed. I am surprised they didn't just sweep it under the rug after the headlines made their run. I assume most Chicago police are of a liberal bent.
Kind of like that bomber in florida that was driving a van that had all this pro trump stuff on it. We never heard about it in the news after the first go around. I bet they found out it was a hoax or the guy was a left wing loon mental case and ignored it.

From current news reports it sounds like the challenge for law enforcement will probably be in gathering enough conclusive hard evidence on either Smollett for filing false police report or the two brothers that he alleges attacked him in order to file criminal charges and prosecute. As it stands now, it sounds like all they've got is his version versus theirs as to what happened.
