How many have written to the local/State lawmakers who determine these guns need to be destroyed? I saw a post a number of pages back from one of our Iowan members saying by law confiscated guns are required to be destroyed. Would a write in campaign to the lawmakers work there? Maybe to the judges? Personally, I've always thought gun destruction (or that of other unused property) silly. Sawed off shotgun, especially something like and 870.
