you could not pay me $100 to shoot 2 cylinders through a 329, I would decline to do it. at least with full house 44 mag. I think to most people on paper this is a gun that sounds cool. I used to shoot full house 357 in a scandium j frame, I think the gun was only 11 oz or something like that. That has some pretty intense recoil that most people don't put up with. So its not like I can't handle some recoil. but when its drawing blood on the web of my hand and hurting my finger for several days after, you just gotta cry uncle and say its too much. If I am going to alaska and worried about bears I am getting a glock 20

Maybe your wife instead so she can protect you while you're snarfing twinkies alongside an AK river.

I find it interesting the popularity increase in the 10mm over the 44mag for bear defense. I've spoken to one man who got munched by a sow grizzly in 2015 - he managed to change her mind with 5 point-blank shots from his S&W329. The attack lasted seconds and he survived with a torn up left arm. The 329 is much lighter than the G20, and there's no time to take advantage of the 16 round capacity.
Have you ever shot a 329? I have and after 2 cylinders it drew blood on the web of my hand through a thin glove. I f ing hate that gun. Another guy I shot it with also had the same chewed up web on his hand About 4500 rounds now.

I spent some time with a 329PD a few years back and immediately shot a 320 grain load that ran right around 1,300 fps through it and was quite frankly underwhelmed (I had read so many horror stories about the recoil).

That would be my approach as well, but I already have a 30SF that feeds anything including MBCs 215 grain 45 Express with a .355 meplat.
I just bought 500 of those, looking at the meplat, hardness, and the velocity a Rowland could sling them. I just wonder how the penetration is vs a 255 LBT LFN. It's a nice looking bullet, and I'm thinking a .45 ACP +P load could be fairly effective, too. I've had a hell of a time getting it to consistently shoot well at standard 45 ACP velocities. https://www.glocktalk.com/threads/anybody-loading-missouri-bullets-215-grain-45-express.1754464/I'm going back to the Flathead Jeff Cooper style 225-230 grain bullet, likely from Bear Creek next time.

A boxer and a US Marine are expected to perform manly tasks. LO Mostpeoples inability to shoot heavy recoiling revolvers accurately and without injury is due to lack of knowledge most times in my experience. IE not knowing the proper muscle tension and not understand a proper grip fit to their hand.

I just loaded some in .45 super, velocity should be 1100 fps-ish. If they don't shoot, I'll give them to someone I don't like...

Crying laughing sugartits! the family helped hang the bear mount. Two things you ain’t got. LOL. Say I’m wrong and hang a bear picture from the 2000’s. Still laughing with you. Does it play a banjo? Fred is shooting animals with down syndrome. I do not know how to feel about this. I have prayed about it. It seems unsporting.
Trump being classless, tasteless and clueless as usual. Sorry, trump is a no tax payin pile of shiit. My young wife decided to play the field and had moved several dudes into my house

Most animals suffer 'down' syndrome after they're shot.

I rarely waste the bandwidth to post this, but it is relevant to forum discussions in general and this thread in particular. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ "How to change a light bulb" using an internet forum
It takes -
1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed
14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently
7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs
27 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs
53 to flame the spell checkers
41 to correct spelling/grammar flames
6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb"
6 to condemn those 6 as anal-retentive
2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp"
15 know-it-alls who claim *they* were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct
156 to email the participant's ISPs complaining that they are in violation of their "acceptable use policy"
109 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum
203 to demand that cross posting to hardware forum, off-topic forum, and lightbulb forum about changing light bulbs be stopped
111 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts *are* relevant to this forum
306 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty
27 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs
14 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's
3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group
33 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too"
12 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the whole light bulb controversy
19 to quote the "Me too's" to say "Me three"

Light bulbs and their electrical sockets can be VERY dangerous in the hands of the deliberately stupid.
Don't ask me about my military service or heroic acts...most of it is untrue.

If one is wanting low light one could run a cord and move the bulb closer to the floor. That is what i have done. The only problem is bumping into the cords and accidentally kicking the bulbs. Have been thinking about moving the lights back to normal and getting lower watterage bulbs

But what's the best light bulb for low light conditions? The dimmest bulb in the string, of which there appears to be no shortage.

A shortage is not good. Could cause a fire, damage the fixture or any numerations of problems
