I found the blued ones on a closeout at a gunstore in Los Angeles and the stainless ones on closeout at Dicks Sports. One of them had been on the rack for a year and marked down from $579.00 to $529.00, but he said he would sell that one for $509. I need to decide.
The clerk said all these markdowns are nationwide but not in the ads because each store has 2 or 3 of different calibers, so go check your local store.
The stainless has a rough finish, and I was afraid it might trap water more than something like the Remington 700 BDL SS I have. I might just buy the blue and if it needs it, put on some Durakote or something. Simoneaud, if you want a .30-06 or .270, let me know. I can't use but one of these.
